POISONOUS RADISH SEEDS.
CAUSE OF CHILD'S DEATH. By -.-graph—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 21. At the adjourned inquest, on Dorothy Haselden. aged nine years. Dr. McLaurin, Dominion analyst, stated that radish seeds were found in the stomach. No reference could be found to these seeds being poisonous. However, tests made showed that radish seeds were poisonous, and probably caused the child's death.
The coroner said that without the analyst's report it would have been impossible to tell the cavjse of death, and returned u verdict in accordance with the medical evidence.
