OPPOSITION TO STATE GOVERNSHIP. Received Feb. 22, 9.15 p.m. Sydney, Feb. 22. There was a sc<>ne while the Assembly was discussing the usual motion congratulating the New Governor on his appointment. Several members of the Opposition, while offering Sir Walter Davidson persona! congratulation, disobeyed the Speaker's rulings, and condemned the retention of State Governors and the expense attaching thereto. One was eventually removed alid the motion was carried by 32 t to 11.
