THE MOTUIHI INQUIRY.
NO COURT MARTIAL TO BE HELD. By Telcgrap.i—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Defence Minister states that lie has received the finding of the second court of inquiry set up to investigate certain questions regarding Colonel Patterson and Major Osborne Lilly, in connection with tiie escape of Herman prisoners from Motuihi. Sir James Allen says thtre will not be any court-martial proceedings as the result of the inquiry.
