At a meeting last evening of the citizen*' committee Hint is endeavoring to raise funds io add an assembly room to die School new building now under construction, it was decided to pend to Wellington next week to interview Ministers a strong and representative deputation with a view to securing a X for .€ Biilisidy on funds voluntarily raised. A sub-coniinitteo brought down recommendations for raising funds. These were approved, and will be put into operation at an early date. Thetarget aimed at is £SOOO, a sum that would provide an assembly room and enI'll l tlie work to be carried out accord' in* to the original plans.
