UKRAINIANS PROTEST. AGAINST THEIR COMPATRIOTS' ACTION. Reuter Service. Received Feb. lfl, 825 pm. Ottawa, Feb. IS. Two thousand Ukrainians, representing a quarter of a million of the population of Canada, have denounced the separate peace by the Ukraine and resolved to carry on the war. TJicy issued a statement to the Dominion Government offering to mobilise the Ukrainians for labor or to carry on war duties, provided the Government removed the stigma that they were alieu enemies. Sir Robert Borden lias given a favorable replj, declaring the offer was entitled io consideration.
