ANOTHER GERMAN RAID. ALL TDRXED BACK BUT ONE. LARGE MACHINE DESTROYED. London, Veb. 17. Official: Six aeroplanes approached the mouth of the Thames at 0.45 lart nijrht and carried out an attack on London. All turned back except one, which penetrated to the capital and dropped bombs in the south-weft district, demolishing a house and burying an invalided officer, bis wife, and two children. t The raider previously dropped other bomb* on the eastern outskirts, but the casualties and damage were not serious. An, Attack on Dover at 10.45 was r driven off, but bomhs were dropped in the open country. Several pilots engaged the enemy, and one action over the Kent coast resulted in a large enemy machine crashing into the sea- The casualties and damage are apparently Jight. Yesternight's air raid did not disturb Londoners, who anticipated nightly bombings in the coming week, owing to the favorable moon. rbfITHER RAIDS ON LONDON. Received Feb. 18, 11.15 p.ro London. Feb. 18. The Press Bureau reports: Hostile aeroplanes crossed the Thames estuary at 10 o'o«ek last night. Some Iwimhs were dropped on London. The raid is atill in progress. GERMAN INFLATIONS. • London, Feb. 17. A wireless German official report says: Our aviators last night bombed London, Dover, Dunkirk, and the fighting forces in the north-east of France. Wireless German official: The enemy lost during January twenty balloons and 151 earoplanes. We lost 68 aeroplanes •nd fear balloons. FEANCE.
