BUTTER IN STORE.
STATEMENT BY PREMIER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Feb. 15. The Prime Minister stated to-day that there is a huge quantity of butter awaiting shipment in different New Zealand ports. The whole of it is the property, of the Imperial Government. It is beginning to cause inconvenience, but it is expected by representatives of the <!ov'eminent here that the quantity will be considerably reduced during the remainder of the present month and part of March.
