FOR THE C 1 CAMP.
MORE MEN FROM NEW PLYMOUTH. A draft consisting of four men left New Plymouth by ino mail train yesterday morning on route to the C'l Canjn. Tiie men were Lieu tenant C. 1). Arnold (late O.C. 00th Coy., Senior Cadets), !.i. WVDobson. J. Clark, and 0. Sykes There was a good gathering of citizens to see the wen away, including His Worship the Mayor (Air. U 11. Burgess), the Ven. Archdeacon Evans, and members of the Patriotic Committee. The usual gift parcels from the Women's Patriotic Committee were given to the men prior to their leaving. - At the station Archdeacon Evans, in a few homely and ibrotherly words, said to the-men that the citizens had met to wisli them a blessing on going into camp They hoped that their iheaith would be thoroughly established and that they would be able to go to the front like others had done. He reminded them that when they did go it would be to light in the greatest cause ever known. He referred particularly to the fig-lit as on behalf of the salvation of the little children who would have to go through the whole terrible ordeal again unless the fight was properly finished this time On behalf of the people of New Plymouth he wished them Godspeed. Hasty good-byes were said and as tltram rtoamed out of tno station it was to the accompaniment of cheering and the playing of "Auld Lang Syne," by tinCitizen's' Band. The placing of the National Anthem concluded the ceremony.
