SEMPLE ON MINERS' GRIEVANCES. Westport, Feb. 13. Mr. Semple states that there is no foundation for the rumjprs th)it the miners may strike, but said the men were discontented owing to the ever-in-creasing cost of living. The idea of a strike, however, was preposterous.
