RAILWAY SERVANTS' CONFERENCE.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The triennial conference of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants concluded to-day. The following Dominion executive was elected for the ensuing three years: President, RHampton (Christchurch); executive councillors, F. J. Carr (Auckland), A. Whisker (Taumarunui), M. Lee and R, Moore (Wellington), C. A. Davis and W. Sullivan (Dunedin), D. Wilson and J- Elliott (Christchurch). The rules were altered to provide for future delegates to conferences being elected under the system of proportional representation, with a single transferable vote. A motion condemnatory of the railway military ballot was defeated by a large majority.
