The New York Times says that President Wilson's address should convince the German people that their military autocracy is the sole obstacle to peace. The Herald says: '•Unless the Central Powers accept the road to peace which President Wilson outlined, we shall continue the war at wbajtever cost." The Tribune remarks that such publie discussion of war aims signalises the end of secret diplomacy.
