FOR THE C 1 CAMP.
MORE MEN FROM XEW PLYMOUTH. A draft consisting of four, men le'ft New Plymouth by mo mail train yesterday morning en route to tlie 01 Camp'. The men were Lieutenant- C. D. Arnold (late O.C. UOtli Cuy., Senior Cadets). C. \V. Dobson. J. Clark, and C. Jsyk'os There was a good gathering ot citizens' to see tiie men away, including His Worship tlie Mayor (Mr- C. If. burgess), the Ven. Archdeacon Evans, and members of the Patriotic Committee. The usual gift parcels from tlie Women's Patriotic Committee were given to the men prior to their leaving. At the station Archdeacon Evans, in a lew homely and ibrotherly words, Said to the men that the citizens had met to wish them a blessing on going into camp They hoped that their health would foe thoroughly established and that they would be able to go to the front like others had done. He reminded them that when they did go it would be to tight in the greatest cause ever known. He referred particularly to the fight as on behalf of the salvation of the little children who would have to go through the whole terrible ordeal again unless the fight was properly finished this time On behalf of the people of New Plymouth he wished them Godspeed. Hasty good-byes were said and as tltram :.tenmod out of the station it was to the "accompaniment of cheering ftnd the playing of "Auld Lang Syne," by the Citizens' Band. The phi_> ing of the National Anthem concluded the ceremony.
