RAILWAY SERVANTS' CONFERENCE.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The triennial conference of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants concluded to-day. The following Dominion executive was elected for the ensuing three years: President, R. Hampton (Christehurch); executive councillors, F. J. Carr (Auckland), A. Whisker (Taumarunui), M. Lee and R. Moore (Wellington), C. A. Davis and W. Sullivan (Dunedin), D. Wilson and J. Elliott (Christchuroli). The rules were altered to provide for future delegates co conferences being elected under the system of proportional representation, with a single transferable vote. A motion condemnatory of the railway military ballot was defeated by a large majority.
