Attention is drawn to the advertisement appearing in another column of the above Association's show which will lie held at Hawera on February 20 and 21. Never since the Society was first inaugurated has it placed such an attractive schedule before the public- Over £I2OO is offered in prizes. Silver cups and trophies are oft'ored for competition in every section—cattle, sheep, horses, pigs and dogs. The exhibition of these now on view in Hawera has been the talk of the district for the past week. Entries are coming in fast. Every available inch of spare for side shows, implements, etc., will be occupied The usual rest tent for ladies will he provided, and given fine weather the public could not possibly spend a more profitable and enjoyable time than at the siliow. Arrangements have been made for the reception and paddocking of stock, and exhibitors can depend upon receiving every possible attention, Entries will be received by the secretary up to Wednesday night, the lflth inst.
