DARING DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Australian Cable Association. Sydney, Feb. 12. A daring daylight bank robbery is reported, A customer entered the Titt Street branch of the English and Scotch. Bank, and deposited over ,€3OO on tho counter. A man standing alongside dashed a bag of flour into the faces of <' customers and teller, then grabbed a hundred in notes and escaped. THE IMPERIAL WAR CONFERENCE. Melbourne, Feb. 12. T t is expected Mr. Hughes and Mr. l-ik will represent the Commonwealth a' the War Conference meeting in London in June or July. AN ANTI-HUGHES MOTION DEFEATED. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. Sydney, Feb. 12. A meeting of the National Council overwhelmingly defeated a motion call-lng-on Mr. Hughes to resign. WESTRALIAN POLLING DAY. Perth, Feb. 12, The polling day is fixed for May 11.
