Dunedin, Last Nlgtk. At the Supreme Court, James Sutherland, charged with indecently assaulting a little girl, was found not guilty on the ground that he was not responsible for his actions. An order was made for the detention of accused until the pleasure of the Minister of Justice is known. Duncan Alison was sentenced to three months on a charge of attempting tv discharge a firearm with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Constable Fox, at Milton, and to be detained for re. formative purposes for not more than three years. David Hill was admitted to probation for twelve months on a charge of theft of £« 18s Cd, the property of the Government.
