TARANAKI AUTUMN MEETING , SUCCESSFULLY 00-NCLUDED-The Turana-ki Jockey Club's autumn meeting was concluded yesterday in perfect weather. The attendance was again very large, and the totalisator investments readied £25,174, making a total of ;CSO,S7!J for the meeting, an increase of £77-4!) 10s or last year's figures. The racing was again first class, Mr. H. Coyle's adjustments resulting in splendid finishes. The Fourth Taranaki Stakes only drew a brace of runners, Kinmark and Koesian, but the contest was a pretty one, and the finish was one of the best of tile meeting. Viclory rested with the two-year-old, but he had to do his best to beat the older horse by a narrow margin. Flying Cnmp was produced in the Okoke Hurdles and tried to win from th-' barrier-rise, but Paul Moore, who ran right up to Wednesday's form, beat him home after a great race. Royal Chef finished better in the Oramlstand Handicap than on tlie previous day, and defeated a paif of verv heavily backed ones, Gaycjnm and Hon d'Or. 'The Omata Hack Handicap gave that fine mare Movement another opportunity of showing h'to sprinting ability .while Henry Clay scored a long overdue success in the Kawau Hack Handicap. Th.' 'Urenui Electric Hack race resulted in a boil-over, the locally-trained Huzza winning comfortably and paying the best dividend of the meeting. Dining the interval betwe n the Grandstand Handicap and the Taranaki Stakes, the public ,\verc treated to a two-year-old parade, in which the following youngsters participated: Mr. A. Alexander's rn f Vivarine, bv Hallomas —Vivande! (N. 1C McDonnell); Mr. Hikhaki's 1) f Toa Rere, by Husbandman — Applause (C. The time recorded was 25 3-asec—a good ''go " Mr. O'Cononr was again in fine form at til' barrier, and Mr. Hartgill filled ('"• judge's box satisfactorily. Mr. E. P.
