SWEDEN'S INTERVENTION. TO HELP THE FINS. Received Feb. 7, 830 nm. Copenhagen, Feb. 0. The Swedish Conservative newspapers are agitating for intervention in Finland, and demanding the despatch of troops and material to assist the White Guards. The Socialist press claims ■ ihat the Conservatives are trying to involve Sweden in war with Russia. The only solution of the situation is the joint intervention of all the Powers which have recognised Finland's indeuendonee at Brest Litovsk CLASH OF GUARDS. MAXIMALISTS REINFORCE RED .GUARDS. Petrograd, Feb. 6. A considerable force of Maximalists lias departed from Petrograd and is reinforcing the Finnish Red Guards. Russian troops have evacuated the Aaland Islands. _ A body of Red Guards, after the defeat at Trevaldo, escaped in a train. The White Guards at a neighboring town dispatched a train against them. The trains collided midway and many were killed on both, sides, aiid the Red Guards disperseds A report of the occupation of the Bolshevik main headquarters at Mohiliff follows the announcement that 26,000 Polish legionaries belonging to the army who joined the revolt against the Bolsheviks succeeded in occupying Rogatcheff, 60 miles southward. ULEABORG CAPTURED. BY FINNISH WHITE GUARDS. Received Feb. 7, 9.55 p.m. Amsterdam, Feb. 6. Finnish White Guards captured. Uleaborg after two days' fighting.
