RACE TRAFFIC, FEBRUAB"f C & 7. of vehicles plying for hire to and from the Racecourse on the above dates, are hereby notified to strictly adhere to the following routes: ■ MOTOR VEHICLES TO THE RACECOURSE. —From starting point near Criterion Hotel via Devon and GoTer streets to Racecourse. \ FROM THE RACECOURSE.—Gover Street to Pendarves Street, thence along 'Pendarves Street and Liardet Street to Courtenay Street, thence along C'ourtenay Street and Powderham Street to Robe Street and thence along Robe St. and Devon Street to starting point. HORSE-DRAWN VEHICLES.—Start from Bank of New Zealand in Brougham Street and proceed via Brougham, Gill and Gover Streets to the Racecourse, returning" by the same route. AH vehicles must enter the Racecourse and travel round the" private road recently laid out by the Jockey Club. Persons driving at excessive speed or not conforming strictly to the directions of the Inspectors will be prosecuted. Messrs John Lynch, David A. McKay and Wm, T.
