This property is situated on the sea coast about 4!) miles from New Plymouth, and ." miles from the Tongaporutu wharf, Post Office, school and store. The Tongaporutu river is navigable ffir small steamers for landing stores and for the shipment of wool and produce. The main North Road passes through the property, and there is a daily mail and passenger service by motor in summer and coach in winter. About 300 acres of the Estate has been ploughed and laid down in mixed English grasses, 7f> acres in turnips aha rape; the balance of the land consists of undulating and hilly country, about 14.10 acres being in bush. Wintered about 2000 sheep and 200 head cattle.
