TWO DEATHS ON THE VOYAGE. Auckland, Last Night. Twenty-two cot cases are included in the contingent that arrived to-day, reduced from 225 at the commencement of the voyage. Two hundred sustained ae- | vere leg and arm wounds, about 20 having lost the use of one limb, while ten have lost the use of one eye. Pulmonary cases, totalling 40, predominate amongst the sick cases. Two deaths occurred on the voyage. Lieutenant H. Simson, of the Royal Plying Corps, died on January 11. His father resides in Hawkes Bay. Private-E. Martin, of Temuka, died this morning. Both were buried at sea. The soldiers were welcomed by Sir Joseph Ward and the Mayor of Auok« land (Mr. Gunson).
