' PEGGY, WILL 0' THE WISP."
A delightfully varied and interesting programme Mas introduced at the Kmpirc Theatre last evening', the chief picture being „ Metro production, "Peggy, Will 0' the Wisp." Talented Mabel Taliaferro; the star of the picture, and tlie excellent supporting company Were alive to every possibility in the story, and have made it a worth while production. The scene of the action ia in Ireland and there is excellent variety in the events and episodes that lead up to the dramatic climax. Migs .Taliaferro, says a well-known critic, proves, in this excellent picture that .she luis few superiors in the art of sircen acting. Her very expression conveys a meaning, while her vitality and prettiness count wonin hei behalf. As a comedienne she is excellent and in the more dramatic scones she shows a. rare ability in handling difficult scenes As the bold highwaytnan she is altogether charming and incidentally reveals thai she is a splendid horsewoman. The same programme will be repeated to-night and to-morrow. EVERYBODY'S. "TIME LOCKS AND DIAMONDS." William Desmond will make his final appearance in the Triangle feature. "Time Looks and Diamonds," at Everybody's to-night. This is a fine picture with plenty of exciting events which hold the interest throughout. The supports include a "Gaumont Graphic," a humorous comedy, a view of "Glade Park. 1 ' TO-MORROW. The, change oi programme to be introduced ~i the matinee to-morrow will he headed by a Gold Kooster star, "An Amateur Orphan," with Gladys Leslie in the lead. The twelfth episode nf the ever popular "Iron Claw" is included on this programme.
