Fat" Cows £l2 15s to £l3 10a, fresh conditioned cows £lO 10 3 to £ll 15s, forvyard cows £9 10s to £lO ss, store cows £7 to £9 ss, boners £4 18s to £f> 10s, heavy bulls £ls to £l7 10s, others £7 5s to £l4, fat woolly hoggets 34s Sd, forward ewes 24s (id, lambs IDs to 12s 6d, pigs 31s to 48s. At Eltham yards', on Wednesday, there was a large yarding of cattle, and prices were on ai par with late sales. We quote: Fat cows £l2 to £l2 15s, fresh conditioned cows £lO 10s to £ll 15s, forward cows .£9 <ss to £ 10 ss, store cows £7 10s to £O, empty heifers £(> !to £7 ss, 18-month steers £7 as Gd, heifers £3 15s, weaner steers to £2 12s, mixed weaners 20s to 30s, bulls £5 10s to £l4 17s Bd, store ewes 12s to IBs, fat hoggets 30s 3d to 31s 3d, store lambs 5s to 8s 4d. At Hawera yards, on Thursday, cattle and sheep were yarded in full numbers. Fat and forward cattle were very firm, and all other classes sold at late values.
