WAVERLEY DEFEATS INGLEWOOD. The Waverley bowlers had a trial of strength on the Inglewood green against a rink of four skipped by A. Leslie yesterday morning. The green was very keen. Play was interesting throughout, but in the closing stages the visitors improved their position, tlje final figures being: Waverley, 25; Inglewood, 18. Up to the tenth head the scoring was equal, but thereafter the visitors kept the lead, wniplng by 7 points. Details of the scores are: Waverley (Dalton, Palmer, Prouse, McGorrery, sk.) 25 v.
