PEACE NEGOTIATIONS. WOOLWICH WORKERS' RESOLUTION. Received Jan. 21, 6.50 p.m. London, Jan. 20. A meeting of two thousand Woolwich workers passed a resolution demanding the Government to enter into peace negotiations with the other belligerents on a no annexation and no indemnity basis, also self-determination of all nations. The meeting pledged itself to co-operate in continuing the war if negotiations disclose that German Imperialists were the only obstacle to peace, but decided to oppose t,he man power proposals if the Government refuses to enter into peace negotiations.

Britain has informed Switzerland that the Government desires to reaffirm the treaties and declarations of 1815, and to assure the Swiss Government that, in conjunction with America and France, they will respect the integrity and neutrality of Switzerland, as long as they we maintained by the, Federal Government and respected by the enemies of Britain.
