Mrs. Molilride, wife of tile chief office? of the missing steamer Matunga, has arrived from New Zealand to endeavor to obtain Government relief. ATr. Hughes, commenting on the statemenl that the Commonwealth had failed to provide for the wives and children of the missing crew, promised that, if the facts were a3 alleged, he would see thev were dealt with satisfactorily.
