Therefore he requested Germ»ny to warn the newspapers which had been praising him. Count Luxburg telegraphed advising Berlin to instruct the newspapers to adopt an attitude of *trong hostility towards M. Caillaux. BOLDIERS' ALLOWANCES. Received Jan. 17, 1.30 a.m. Paris, Jan. 16 A bill has been introduced for increasing the daily allowance of soldiers at 1 UJe front from one to three francs.
