HAVjaL OFFICERS' BENEFIT. » ■ London, Jan. 13. The War Cabinet has decided to increase subaltern's pay during the war to a minimum of 10s 6d per day. There will also be consequential increases in the pay to captains and majors, and an allowance for children to £2 per month (for each child up to a maximum of £8 a month for subalterns and captains, and" half the foregoing for majors.
