A FINE DRIVE. Mr. Boyd Edkins, the well-known X.SS.W. motorist, has succeeded in establishing a particularly fine drive under adverse road conditions over the Interstate route between Brisbane and Sydney. a distance of 037 miles. Owing' to recent heavy rains in Queensland', Air. Edkins was nearly abandoning bis proposed attempt on the existing figures, but decided to tackle Mr. F. Birtles' record of 2!) hours 35 minutes, despite the fact that the road was well n igli impossible in places.
