EGMONT A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

At a special meeting of the general committee of the Egmont A. and P. Association, held at Hawera, yesterday, to consider the question of altering the autumn show dates, as they clashed with the Wanganui races, it was decided to adhere to the advertised dates—February 20 and 21. It was stated that the arrangements were well forward, and it was not deemed possible to postpone the fixture. It was decided to hold a smoke concert on the first night of the show, to entertain the judges and visitors.
