.NEW SHIPS FOR ATLANTIC RAIDERS The United States Government has in its possession information that Germany is building submersible cruisers of a newtype, savs the Washington correspondent of the Times. Tt is fully realised that any considerable increase in the amount of tonnage sunk by (iermany would seriously menace the Allies' plans, the transport of the Amencan Army, and of foodstuffs Hid munitions for the Allies, upon which the final victory largely depends.
