Glorious weather prevailed, there was a large attendance, and the totalisator handled £6057, making a total for the three days of £23,81$ 10s. Sydney, Jan. S. Considerable interest is manifested in sporting circles over the New Zealand reports of the possibility of Desert Gold and Biplane measuring strides at Australian autumn meetings. While New Zealand sportsmen regard Desert Gold as superior to Biplane, Australian experts think Biplane the better of the two.
