A RECORD WEEK. REVENUE OF OVER £3OO. The return of the New Plymouth tramways for the week ended on Sunday last constitute a fresh record. The number of passengers carried reached a total of 41,642, and the revenue amounted to £3OB ISs Id. Following are the details: Passengers. Revenue. £ s. d. The best day of that week was New Year's day, when the takings amounted to £B2 12s 9d; the best day of last week being Wednesday, when £64 15s lid was taken. The best daily record was made on March 21, 1917, the revenue on that date being £ll9 14s 9d. The occasion was the berthing of the first Home liner at the New Plymouth wharf.
