DOROTHY DALTCIX AT TIIE EMPIRE. ' "THE FLAME OF THE YUKON." A seven reel super-feature by Triangle is showing at the Empire to-night. and the two following' nights, with Dorothy IJalton in the supreme portrayal of her screen career. It. is a tremendous achievement, challenging ''The Spoilers" a : ; a picture of the wild life, lawless and gold-mad days of the great rush to the frozen north of Alaska. Dorothy is an Alaskan Carmen, 11 queen of the dancehalls. She is without creed, conscience, or moral standard, yet when she meets the "Stranger," a young, rugged fellow who eoiu'ei to make liis fortune, she feels a sudden attraction that draws her to him. Instead of trimming him, as originally planned, she becomes his champion and linds him enough money to make another start. The scenes of Nome are reproduced with wonderful fidelity, the king main street of the Yukon town being copied exactly. The dance-tall ia a wonderful conception, full of the rough splendour and . extravagant furnishings that-suited the taste of the reckless suddenly rich miners. The cast is a, strong one."Kenneth Harlan as the •'Stranger," Carl 'Ulhnan as "George FowJcr," "some man," as agreed after his terrific fight, and Melbourne McDowell as "Black lack'' llovey, all being superb types of shomr manhood. The supporting pictures include the second episode oi the sensational super-serial "The Secret Kingdom." LAST NIGHT OF .ROBERT WARWICK AND JUNE ELVIDGE IN "TIIE FAMILY HONOR." "There is enough material in 'The Family Honor' to. supply two good scenarios." So says an American reviewer of this great World Film drama, which is such a-masterly example of crowded incident and breath taking action. Robert Warwick and June Elvidge are costars in this.'line film drama, which will be finally screened at, Everybody's tonioht. 'i'lic supports include a further exciting episode of ".The Iron Claw." THE WORLD'S WONDER PICTURE AT . EVERYBODY'S TO-MORROW. ."A DAUGHTER OF THE GODS." The wonderful Fox fairy story, '"'A Daughter of the Gods," to -be shown at Everybody's to-morrow, is described as a marvellous conception. It is a sumptuously staged film, featuring the "most perfect woman in the world," Annette Kellemuin, the Australian diving Venus. The theme is fascinating flight of the imagination, narrating the vicissitudes of the souls of a, baby iboy and girl who died at a very tender age. Triumphant reincarnation, mythological and fairy hire Oriental opulence and mediaeval battles, all' iigUre in the tale. There are gnomes, houris of a Sultan, fascinating babies, fairies, princes, ogres, and elfs, and in all the big scenes the spectacular effect is said to be wonderful. There are picturesque tallies, and Mißs Kellerman is seen in daring diving feats, swimming, dancing and fencing. There is plenty of thrill in "A Daughter of the Gods," which should have' a most successful season here. There will be a special matinee of "A Daughter of the Gods'' on Wednesday afternoon at "2.30.

If you are a heavy smoker, and smoke habitually some of the American brands in common use, heavily charged with nicotine, constant Mucking will most certainly affect Ufa 'action of" the heart and, possibly the nerves. If you indulge in a mild tobacco, containing only a small percentage of nicotine, you. "will experience no siieh ill ell'ects. ' Take the well-known tlawkd's Bay tobacco, Gold Pouch, for example. Here you have an absolutely geimino tobacco of genuine flavor and annua, it is so pure that it contains, only about U per cent, of nicotine. That is why it is comparatively innocuous. It won't bite the tongue or affect the heart. "No language,'' says a famous general, •'can accurately describe the comfort enjoyed from a pipe, when exposed to severe weather in trenches, or the power it has to stay the stomach-crave when no food is to be had, and this action of tobacco, under such circumstances, cannot be 'harmful," Of,all. the tobaccos known, the N.Z. 'grown Gold l.V.ich is said to. be the least injurious by far; try it and you will become au enthusiast.
