Mr. Lloyil George, in a message to agricultural laborers, appeals to'them to do their utmost to grow more food. He savs there is a world-wide shortage of food, and we may have to feed the army, navy, and ourselves on what we can grow here. RESTRICTED MILK RATIONS. Aua. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter. The Food Controller has ordered that from January 21 children under eighteen
months are to be allowed 110 more than a pint and a half of milk daily, and those between eighteen months and five years one pint. Invalids are to be allowed the quantities medically recommended. The food committees will decide whether the scheme is necessary in their own areas.
