Robert Warwick is'a manly and likable hero, and ihe whole cast is strong and the acting throughout is at a high ievel. The story ■contains a complete surprise in ils new treatment of the siren who is alleged to be the cause of young Anthony Wavne's infatuation. When the elder brother'noes to reproach her, he finely that, although she is heartless and gay. she has certainly never encouraged the youth in many of his mad acts. He stays and begins to love her, and the turning point in her life comes when a man who believes that all women can be bought makes his wanton proposal. The play is full of incident, and contains a breathless succession of dramatic situations.
