RAILWAY MANAGEMENT. Washington, Dec. 30. Mr. M'Adoo has ordered all terminal ports, rolling stock, and workers in other transportation services to be utilised by the Government railroads. He has refused a 40 per cent, increase in wages, permitting the Government to settle the question. The Government ownership of railroads hinges on the outcome of war control. HUGE LOANS TC ALLIES. I Washington, Dec. 30. j The United States lias loaned to Great Britain 185 million dollars, to France 1.5 a million, to Belgium 71V» million, to Serbia one million. The total to all the Allies is more than four billion dollars.
