A FURTHER. ADVANCE. ON A NINE-MILES FRONT. SE¥3RE ENEMY LOSSES. -Aug. and N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter. Received Dee. 30, 5.5 p.m. London, Dec. 29. Palestine, official.—After repelling several determined attacks at Raseltawil,, northward of Jerusalem and eastward of Birnebala, five miles north-west of Jerusalem, we attacked the right flank and gained ground eastward and north-east. We penetrated; to a depth of two and a half miles on a nine-mile front. The 'enemy's losses w«re severe. Some Germans \EBre taken prisoner.
