Subject to necessary alterations, maili will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as under: — For Auckland and North, daily per train at 6.15 a.m. For Auckland and Norlh, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborne, daily at fi.la а.m. For Wellington and So th, daily at б.la a.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily at'6.lo a.m., 11 a.m., apd p.m; '■ For Opiuiake and intermediate offices per motor bus, daily at fi.la a.m. Mails for the United Kingdom. America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be despatched from time to time by the beat route without special notification.
