AN ANARCHISTS' PLOT. TO ASSASSINATE OONSTANTJXE. Received Dec. 28, 9.50 p.m. Berne, Dec. 27. The Swiss police have discovered a foreign anarchists' plot to assassinate ex-King Constantine. DOMINION'S PART. RETURNED SOLDIERS. ANOTHER BATCH ARRIVES. TWO DEATHS ON VOYAGE. Auckland, Dec. 21 A hospital ship brought 547 returned soldiers, including 25 officers, 88 cot cases, 2 totally blind and 10 mental cases. There is a high proportion of limb cases, though all were fitted with artificial limbs in England. Two privates died on the voyage, viz., F. Webb (Palmerston North), and J. T. McCaw (Waitahuna). MORE RETURNED SOLDIERS EXPECTED. Wellington, Last Night. The Base Records office advises that a transport, carrying another draft of returning soldiers, is expected to reach Auckland aijout January 5, Wellington January 7, iLytielton January 8, and Port Chalmers January 9.
