JAPANESE SHIP SUNK. CREW RESCUED. Received Dee. 28, 7 p.m. London, Dec. -27. A Spanish steamer brought part of the crew of the .Japanese steamer Mayori Maru, which was submarined off Spain on October 20. while en route from Kobe to Marseilles with a cargo of rice. Two submarines shelled the steamer and killed a fireman. The crew of forty escaped, the steamer being sunk. The crew were picked up bv a French transport and taken to Bakar. FRENCH LOSSES.
