Subject to necessary alteration-, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, >'ew .Plymouth, as under:— For Auckland and North, daily per train at 0.15 a.m. For Auckland and North, per steamer, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m. For Napier and Gisborne, daily at f1.15 а.m. For Wellington and So v th, daily at б.15 a.m.
For Wanganui and intermediate offices, daily at 0.15 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m.
For Optin&ke and intermediate offices per motor bus, daily at fi.l6 a.m. Mails for the United-Kingdom. America, and all oversea countries, including Australia, will be despatched from time to time by the best route without special notification.
