HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The Department of Agriculture, Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram, dated London, Decern: her 22, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand. (Note.- —Quotations, unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot): Meat.—Demand is in excess of supply kfor all descriptions. Home-killed mutton J?nd beef are in fair supply, selling at upximum prices. All descriptions of fifozen meat are very scarce. New Zealand, no supplies available. Argentine iflutton and lamb, small supplies, 11 id; Beef quotations are nominal; chilled hind quarters, llid; fore quarters, »Jd.

Butter.—There is no material ehange in the market. . Danish, Irish creamery, and Dutch, no supplies available; French, no quotations owing to supplies reported to have been taken by Government. Available supplies consist principally of Argentine, Government price 2525. Apples.—American applies are. in small .supply at fixed prices. Cheese.—English Cheddar, 1425; New Zealand, Canadian and States Flats, 130s! Sd. Dutch, under Government control, fixed prices full cream 100?. Estimated..' Canadian cheese stocks, London Liverpool and Bristol, Ssf> boxes against 75,729 at same time last year. Hemp.—Manila market practically cleared. It is understood arrangements completed for shipment of large quantities during December and month following. Output, week ended December 8, 26,000 bales. New Zealand, no change to report.

Wheat.—Market is very quiet, owing to the absence of Government offers.

Oats.—Market is slightly owing to small supply, Net. 2 w&ite clipped American S&,
