THE REFERENDUM FIGURES, Received, Dec. 26, 2.30 a.m. Sydney, Dec. 25. It has been a quiet, soberly Christmas, in keeping with the times. Out-door-picnics were spoifed by rain. There, is a cool change after the iieat wave of -the past few days, which reached 100 •in the shade. With praetically all the votes exhausted, the "No" majority stands at ■174,797. New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia continue to eontribute largely to. the "No" votes. Victoria has slightly reduced the majority ;against. W-eetralia has substantially increased the "Yes""%ures, Tasmania still shows a slight lead in favor of TTes." THE HOUDAY AT SYDNEY. Received December 26, 9.30-p.m. Sydney, Dec. 20. The holiday weather was showery. The usual outdoor sports, races and picnics,, were largely attended.
