Le Matin states that, according to trustworthy authority, the peace terms Germany is drafting contemplate merely a status quo evacuation of occupied European territory, the restitution of the colonies, and freedom for German commerce. The Turkish position is left obscure in view of securing England's attention. It has not yet been decided whether to negotiate or not to yield Alsace.
