WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The atmospheric pressure has decreased considerably since last evening, and freshening northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Gloomy conditions have overspread the Dominion, and rain has fallen to-day in many parts in and southward of Cook Straits. Present indications are for high westerly winds, backing to southerly, and unsettled and squally weather, with rain generally. The barometer will rise everywhere soon
