AN EX-SOLDIER'S SUICIDE, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Last Night. The body of Charles Smith, stockman, Te Uku, waa. found in the scrub, with a grin between his legs. The greater portion of his head was blown off. He left a note bidding his employer good-bye. Deceased originally came from Hob&rt, and served in Gallipoli, being discharged about ii ys# r ago. DEATH FROM SHOCK. Wellington, Last Night. At the inquiry concerning the death of Chief Petty Officer Frederick Sandells, aa the result of a boating accident on Sunday, the coroner found that death was caused by shock, due (o the rupture of an old gastric ulcer.
