EAHOTUj (From' Our Own Correspondent). This morning the local factory was nearly destroyed by fire. It seems the coal in the bin near the boiler-house caught, fire. The manager, Mr. Cnmeron, assisted by others, were all day moving the coal to make thinks safe. The road board's new machinrey is to bo tried on Friday morning, before the sale, on the Knhui road west, when it is to be hoped all members will be present.
