A BRILLIANT DOUBLE PROGRAMME AT EVERYBODY'S.

A decidedly brilliant change of programme is announced for Everybody's tonight when Virginia Pearson will star in the- William Fox photoplay, "The Bittor Truth," and William Desmond and Enid Markey in the Triangle feature, "Blood will Tell." Either picture would be an exceptionally powerful attraction, and combined on the one evening's bill it reaches a pinnacie in the entertain-, ment world rarely achieved. The screen* ing nights are to-night and to-morrow night only. LIONEL BARRYMORE AT THE EMPIRE: "THE END OF TOE TOUR." Most people are interested in the inner workings cf theatrical companies, especially if told faithfully and with a reasonable amount of comedy to ,'clieve the more serious situations. The Metro company have produced a delightful story of the stage in "The End of the Tour," with that excellent artist, uionel Barrymore in the leading role, and a particularly suitable supporting company. A romance of the ''one-night stands" the picture may be called "Buddy" Bennett (Mr. Barrymore) is the leading man of the Chicago Meals Theatre Cnmp'any, a barnstorming ''troupe" which come* to grief "on the road.-' The play depicts graphically the life oi travelling playcvs who art: not overburdened with success This humorous and entertaining photoplay will commence a local season of three nights at the Empire this evening. The supportins pictures include the eleventh episode of the "Secret of the Submarine," a further instalment of the "Rex Beaeli Travel Series," the Topical Weekly and a humorous comedy.
