CLEMENCEAU'S METHODS. AWAY WITH RED TAPE. SUSPENDING CAILLAUX'S TMv MUNITY. Paris, Dee. 18. M. Olemenceau, giving evidence before the Caillaux inquiry committee, intimated that the Government would resign \uiless the Chamber suspended M. Caillaux's parliamentary immunity, thus enabling the charges to be investigated. The committee has accordingly determined to report in favor of author, ising the prosecution. M. Clemenceau has declared war on Government red tape and i&a ordered the War Office in future, to decide simple problems within three days and jtvoid long inter-departmental minutes.
